The Barwon South West COVID-19 vaccination will start today in Geelong with the Pfizer vaccine.

This week a vaccination outreach team will visit Portland, working with Portland district Health to vaccinate priority groups including health care workers and aged care residents.

Barwon Health announced once the process is completed in Portland, Colac will be first to follow before the rest of the region.

As stock of the vaccine becomes available, the Barwon Health's Public Health Unit will schedule he rollout with other regional health services across the region to support the vaccination process for phase 1a recipients.
