No Indication As To Whether Regional Vic Will Move Out Of Lockdown

Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton says they'll look at easing restrictions for regional areas only, but wouldn't confirm any details.

"It's all to be determined as we go through a review of the situation day-by-day, it's not out of the question, it's not locked in," Prof. Sutton said.

"We will see when we get there but at the moment it's reviewing day-by-day," he said.

11 new locally acquired COVID cases were added to VICTORIA's active tally on Monday, taking the total to 60.

Speaking Monday, testing commander Jeroen Weimar confirmed no active cases currently reside in regional Victoria.

"All the cases we've identified at this point, although we had exposure sites in regional Victoria and of course a number of these cases are in our outer suburbs, but we don;t have any positive cases at this point who reside in regional Victoria," Mr. Weimar said.
