"People are nervous, but if you actually haven't been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or you haven't recently come back from overseas travel, then your likelihood of exposure is really low. But look, you only have to go into the supermarket to see people's response to what's going on.

"But for us, it's business as usual. I understand people are being tested, but not everyone is required to be tested. If you've come back from overseas from any of the countries listed, then it's self-isolation for 14 days. If you are feeling unwell with a cough, sniffles and you have a temperature, then at that point you may be suitable to actually be tested.

"I think there are a lot of people seeking testing when there is no indications for doing so, but obviously it's a case-by-case basis. We do have to be sensible about it, because if you look at our Urgent Care it is just for those 'urgent' presentations. Business still goes on, we still need to provide care to other people as well. I'm not saying it's an overreaction but I think people need to self-determine on the public advice being given by the experts.

"If you look up COVID-19 on the Department of Health and Human Services website there is public advice out there and it's the most up-to-date advice we can get. It's just about keeping abreast. As I've been saying to people before, it is changing and we just need to be aware of that and maintain all the information as it comes out."
