A Woman Was Airlifted To Hospital After A Collision On Murray St.

Emergency services were called to serious collision on Murray Street, Colac Sunday evening.

A woman in her 60s collided with several cars including a truck after losing control of her vehicle at the corner of Murray and Airdrie Streets just before 6pm.

The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was left with serious but non-life threatening injuries as she was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital.

SES and fire crews responded to the incident and closed off the section of the main street for around two hours.

Camperdown Police crews also responded, with Colac Police occupied with a seperate fatal collision at the Great Ocean Road.

The cause of the Murray Street incident is still being investigated.
