Communities Along The Great Ocean Road Have Their Say On It's Future

Over 200 people have had their say across five open session on ways to future-proof the Great Ocean Road and the surrounding region.

The community conversation events began two weeks ago and community members from Torquay, Aireys Inlet and Anglesea have already had a chance to share their ideas.

Great Ocean Road Management Reform Team Project Director Jason Borg is buoyed by the numbers attending the events.

“There has been an excellent response to the sessions we’ve run so far, with fantastic feedback from the community about the interactive and engaging nature of the sessions,"

“There has also been some great engagement online with more than 80 surveys completed through the Engage Victoria website."

The Great Ocean Road team has eight more opportunities for the community to drop in, have their say and shape planning for the future direction of the Great Ocean Road region.
