Colac Highway Patrol reported Saturday night… that police intercepted the driver on Bromfield Street Colac where enquiries revealed the driver had a cancelled licence.

Following this police conducted a roadside oral fluid test which returned a positive reading for illicit drugs… and is the second time the same offender has been caught drug driving within the last 12 months.

"It is a reminder to all members of the community that if you choose to drive a motor vehicle after using illicit drugs, during a period of suspension, disqualification or simply without a driver’s licence, members of the Colac Highway Patrol won't hesitate to utilise vehicle impoundments as a means to stop offending.”
