A Colac Man Has Faced Court In Warrnambool

A 33 year old Colac Man has been remanded in custody until Friday after appearing before the Warrnambool Magistrates Court.

Acting Senior Sergeant Tom Morris of Warrnambool Police says the man is facing 18 charges, which included alleged theft and burglary offences.

"Over the month of May, police had a number of offences that were reported to them, which involved theft from motor vehicles and we had a couple of burglaries recently reported to us which occured about the middle of May," Acting Senior Sergeant Morris said.

"These were at a couple of premises over in Port Fairy," he said.

"As a result of those, police excecuted a search warrant at an address and recovered some stolen property and 33-year-old Colac man was arrested."

"That man's been charged with a number of offences, 18 in fact, he's been remanded in custody."
