Local Truck Driver Organises Donations For Charity Night

After the success of the truck convoy for Camp Quality earlier this year, local Wettenhalls truck driver Phil Garrett is hosting an auction and trivia night for the charity next month.

Camp Quality services and programs are designed to help children aged 0-13 with the daily ups and downs of dealing with cancer.

The charity night will be hosted at the Colac Central Bowling Club from 6pm on Saturday November 9, with tickets at $15 each or $120 for a table of 10.

Phil is calling on donations from local organisations, groups or individuals for the auction.

"What we've been doing is going around with the sponsorship letters to all the businesses around town and they've been offering a gift to put towards the auction, and vouchers and things too. We've been organising them to put into the auction.

"We were involved in the very first convoy with Camp Quality and we had a day in Geelong with all the kids and all that. This is the second auction and trivia night I've been involved in and I've taken this one on board myself, to run it."

All businesses who donate will be promoted on the night and all monetary donations will go directly to Camp Quality.

Anyone wishing to donate or attend, can contact Phil Garrett on 0417 321 261.
