Camperdown Police Have Responded To A String Of Break-Ins Across The Community.

Police are urging the community to be vigilant after a third break-in at a Camperdown business in less than one week.

An old abattoir site at Old Geelong Road, north of Camperdown, was broken into at the weekend.

An angle grinder, drill and chainsaw worth about sixteen-hundred dollars was stolen.

It is the third break-in reported in Camperdown since last Tuesday.

The towns Golf Club was broken into overnight on that day as well as a panel beating business last Thursday.

The offenders breaking into the Golf Club appearing to have been looking for cash and ransacked the Captain's room.

Offenders then allegedly forced entry into Prosser's Panel Beating and Spray Painting overnight last Thursday using an implement and stole a cash tin.
