An axe and long handled hammer seized in Mortlake
A Geelong man has been granted bail following a family violence incident in Mortlake.
Emergency Services received several calls on Sunday afternoon, reporting three men were fighting and one was swinging an axe at a property in Dunlop-Mortlake Road.
When police arrived they were confronted by two aggressive males, who both had minor cuts to their face and hands.
Officers found a 53 year-old-man inside the property, suffering chest pain and facial injuries, but he refused to be transported hospital.
Police seized an axe and a long handled hammer, before charging 30 year old and serving a 29 year old with family violence notices.
