Irrewarra Beeac have kept their finals race

Irrewarra Beeac have kept their finals quest chances alive after recording a hard fought 22 goal win over Birregurra. The Bombers were tested early but were able to break away from the Saints in the second term to march their way to a 56 to 34 and set up a big match next week against Simpson. Courtney Garner continued her impressive season top scoring for the Bombers with 33 goals while Lily Marwood and Narelle Frith were named in their best players. Saskia Douglas-Dekker top scored for the Saints yet again with 20 goals with Kirsty Finnigan and Molly Buchanan named in their best players.

Otway Districts have produced the upset of the season and have possibly sercured their finals spot after recording a thrilling three goal win over Alvie aqnd end the Swans six game winning run. The Demons were able to keep their noses infront at each change to record their tight 27 to 24 win, Olivia Paatsch top scored for the Demons with 21 goals with Brooke Hawkins and Claire Evans named in their best players. Angela Hogben top scored for the Swans with 10 goals while Morgan Eldridge and Dallas Williamson were named in their best players.

Top side Simpson flexed their muscles with a complete four qurater display against the Colac Imperials to record a big 51 to 19 win, Jessie Hawkins shot 26 goals and Emily Duyhoven scored 25 for the Tigers with Amy Pemberton and Jessie Hawkins named in their best players. Eliza Cahill top scor3ed for the Imps with 10 goals with Tara Morrissy and Emelya Perkins named in their best players.

Lorne have secrured their top two spot after recording a big 69 to 26 win over coast rivals Apollo Bay. Carly Enticott top scored for the Dolphins with 46 goals while Beth Loubey and Rhiannon White were named in their best players. Katie Monaghan top scored for the Hawks with 19 goals while Cara Hudson and Katherine Schredens were named in their best players.

South Colac remain in the top five after recording a big 69 to 36 win over the Western Eagles. Nicole Mitchell scored 35 goals for the Roos with Janelle Monaghan and Edwina Parker were named in their best players. Katrina Felice scored 21 goals for the Eagles with Jessica Montano and Lilan Kent were named in their best players.
