Roadside meeting in Gnotuk
A dangerous intersection on the Princes Highway in Gnotuk has lead to a roadside meeting with concerned locals.
They met with Polwarth MP Richard Riordan, police and SES volunteers on Wednesday May 18.
The group wanted to talk about what action can be taken to fix the black spot at Gnotuk Lane.
There have been a number of near misses at the intersection, including a collision that saw a truck roll onto its roof in foggy conditions.
Mr Riordan says he will prepare a submission for VicRoads.
"Well there are much needed longer term, expensive fixes.
"But the community is of the mind that in the short term, there are some simple small projects that VicRoads could undertake to make it much safer, for a fairly low coat."
